Law degree awarded by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Master's in Business Management by the Instituto de Empresa . Counsellor for more than ten years on matters concerning human resources. Ms Marañon is an expert in analysing and evaluating international documentation. Since 2000 she has headed the Morocco Collaboration Programme at the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid.

Ms Marañon is co-author of the book “Derecho de Extranjería Práctica Administrativa y Jurisdiccional” (“Immigration Law, Administrative and Jurisdictional Practice”), Dykinson, 2002, and is author of numerous publications and articles on this subject. She has given speeches and seminars in various public and private centres on immigration law.
